Biography

Antoine Lovell is currently a doctoral candidate at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and earned his MSW from New York University Silver School of Social Work and MPA from Long Island University School of Business, Public Administration and Information Sciences. His primary research interests are housing and homelessness, with an emphasis on inequities embedded within social policies. His work has been published in Urban Social Work and Journal of Behavioral Health Services & Research. Antoine has spent his career advocating for more effective policies to address homelessness and currently does so as the chief operating officer at Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey (CSPNJ). CSPNJ, a peer-led not-for-profit organization, provides flexible, community-based services that promote responsibility, recovery, and wellness through the provision of community wellness centers, supportive and respite housing. Previously, Antoine worked as director of supportive housing at The Children’s Village, where he oversaw a large division that provided transitional housing for runaway and homeless youth. In addition, Antoine has been appointed to teach graduate level courses at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, New York University Silver School of Social Work and Columbia University Graduate School of Social Work.
