Our community outreach teams go into communities with individuals living unhoused and provide support and resources. Projects based in Ocean County have most recently been highlighted with the need for better conditions and support for the unhoused population.

NJ Transit Project
Our community outreach team collaborates with the NJ Transit Police Department at the Newark, Hoboken, Paterson, Camden and Atlantic City NJ Transit train stations to provide services for emergency housing, safety, and mental health checks.
Bergen County Outreach
Bergen County's Outreach team puts forth efforts to help individuals have private appointments via video in pop-up booths, for meetings like those with the Department of Housing and Community Reintegration, and Family Services. This programs helps to facilitate appointments for emergency assistance applications, eligibility applications and assist keeping members connected to the healthcare network while using Medicaid benefits.

Court Initiatives
Our Hudson County and Essex County wellness centers provide Court Navigation Assistance on site, as support to access virtual court appointments. We also collaborate with NJ Transit through their ticket referral program.
