Hudson & Essex County Integrated Services welcomes and supports people with mental and substance use disorders who are seeking to improve their quality of life. The essence of HCIS is the integration of membership, services and staff in a Community Wellness Center (CWC) setting. CWC supports, groups and activities are provided. In addition, Supportive Housing staff provides services, service coordination and outreach to individuals in our housing projects. HCIS is designed to sustain and strengthen recovery, wellness and life skills for individuals with: mental health issues; substance use disorders; homelessness; and physical, behavioral health or other challenges. HCIS provides a safe, accepting community where peers and staff assist members through community-based services and support.
