Supportive Housing Services are designed to provide people with serious and persistent mental illness the opportunities to live in the community in various housing settings where support services are provided.

The goals of CSPNJ sponsored supportive housing include:

  • Securing and maintaining a safe, long-term community living environment
  • Promoting individual awareness and involvement in mental health care and community integration
  • Preventing unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations and homelessness 
  • Maximizing independence
  • Enhancing quality of life
